TCHOPE ICON - TransparentIn 2011, the idea for the Treasure Coast Hope For The Homeless Foundation was born after a group of four girls, Karina Del Toro (age 10), Alexandria Del Toro (age 7), Kayliegh (age 10) and Mallory (age 8) decided to help those in need and less fortunate.
At first, the girls tried to raise funds for the homeless by holding various lemonade stands and selling used and donated jewelry at garage sales. Innocently, the girls believed the homeless were homeless because they did not have jobs and their circumstances did not allow them to appropriately dress for future job opportunities. As they continued to foster their dream of helping those less fortunate, the girls began asking family, friends, and neighbors to donate used business clothing in an effort to provide the homeless with the chance to succeed in obtaining employment. As their vision and passion for helping others continued to grow, the girls also felt low income families had needs as well.
With the blessings and support of Morningside Church located in Port St. Lucie, FL, the girls established a clothing drop off box just outside the children’s ministries and over the past four years hundreds of bags filled with clothing and hygiene items were collected and donated to various non-profit organizations within the community.

Today, the Treasure Coast Hope For The Homeless Foundation is a 501(3)C non-profit organization. Our goal is to collect clothing and monetary donations in an effort to serve families and those in need throughout the Treasure Coast of Florida. We continue to support other non-profit organizations as we believe partnerships with our community and  helping others achieve success is critical to achieving our mission. These girls have a passion to help people in need and are excited about what God is calling them to do.

There are numerous opportunities to support our organization and your community. The Treasure Coast Hope For the Homeless Foundation accepts used infant, children and adult clothing at designated drop off locations. We also accept school supplies such as paper, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, and backpacks. We appreciate any hygiene products such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, and first aid kits.

Thank you and God Bless you for your kindness and generosity.
