The Treasure Coast Hope For The Homeless Foundation’s Core Values are built upon God’s word, the Bible. We believe the Bible to be infallible and our organization exists to fulfill God’s two greatest commandments, which are to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself.
Core values are the fundamental beliefs of the organization and the guiding principles that dictate behavior and action both internally and externally.
Core values provide standards for the organization in order to care for and serve others, while at the same time inspire us to achieve both personal and professional excellence.
Core values guide us in knowing what is right from wrong; remind us of the commitment we made towards serving others; and create an unwavering focus and direction towards fulfilling our goal and mission of serving families in need throughout the Treasure Coast.
Core Values will be taught, reinforced, and demonstrated by the Board of Directors on a daily basis. We will demonstrate a commitment to these principles in both our personal and professional lives and to set a standard for others to follow. These core values will be used to refocus us during difficult circumstances and as an example to others.
Doing what is right establishes trust both inside and outside of the organization. Establishing trust with board members, citizens, and the community is critical to the success of the organization.
Doing the best we can demonstrates to the community that we are committed to both personal and professional excellence in all that we do. Every member of the organization has the ability to do their very best and a commitment to excellence will help establish the Treasure Coast Hope for the Homeless Foundation as one of the premier organizations within the State of Florida.
Treating people how we want to be treated, the “Golden Rule”, shows people we care. The community we serve needs to know that we care and actions always speak louder than words. How we respond to the needs of others will demonstrate to our community that we are committed to solving their problems and making the world a better place, starting right here on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
